DHC-2 Beaver updates are irritating

Twice I've been notified by my software vendor ( of updates for the DHC-2 Beaver, and twice I've downloaded the updates (170808 and 170606).

And twice the darn .exe file overwrote all my modifications that I laboriously had added and the liveries I'd deleted. This time, I saved the old files outside P3Dv4 so it might be a bit easier for me to reconstruct what I changed before... But still...

Why doesn't Milviz simply tell us what files were changed, instead of saying
"Service Pack 08-08
MVAMS Updated
Tundra STOL NAV radio selection issue resolved
Autopilot updated to rectify issues with button and VS control
Trimwheel and needles servo animation adjusted
Screens of darkened GNS units brightened
Weight and balance modified
WX radar dlls for SE FSXA and P3Dv3.4 updated"

I don't want to delete unwanted repaints another time, and have no idea what other files were altered in the update, but surely Milviz can let us know that vital info so we can save our old version elsewhere, outside P3Dv4, download the new version, then copy over, and reuse, the old version for all unchanged files...

Sorry but that's not going to happen.

when the update notice appears, back up your liveries. If you don't want liveries, well... just don't use them.

We're nearly at the end of the fix process so please bear with us. (what that means is, we've pretty much killed all of the bugs...)
