Milviz F-4 in P3D

Post by brettt777 » Wed Mar 01, 2017 7:29 pm

I installed the Tacpack F-4 in P3D V3.0 academic (having too many issues with FSX in Windows 10 so switching over to P3D) but every time I go to fly the thing, it completely locks up and crashed the game. Could that be because I don't have tacpack in P3D yet? Don't have any issues with other P3D capable aircraft. What could be causing this? Very frustrating...

We are busy with an update for P3D v3.4.22. Once released, you will need to make sure that your P3D version number matches. Otherwise crashes will occur due to the techniques needed to bypass the simulator in some of the features. Just like VRS TACPACK. But no TACPACK is not necessary and the absence of it shouldn't cause any problems.

Jonathan,

Just purchased the F-4 bundle with Tacpack and just noticed in that post that a fix is needed. I have a couple of questions:

1. Do you have an ETA on the fix? (not rushing you but just curious about when the fix should be expected)
2. Will the installation work in P3D if I hold off installing the tacpack add-on until there is a fix?

Thanks in advance.

The fix is not Tacpack related.

We're hoping in the next couple of days to have the fix.

Have the same problem now both in P3D v3.4 and FSX:SE. Really enjoy this plane, hope the fix comes soon.

The F-4's (both) should work fine in SE. P3D we ARE working on a fix but... it's taking a bit more time than we wanted and for that, I apologize.

Hello forum community
In the P3D v3 I have the following problem with the Phantom F-4 E / S / J.
The installation has worked smoothly under Windows 10 and the F-4 can be started as software in the P3D. The operation of the switches and buttons is completely possible in the VC. All additional modules like the GPU work well. The P3D crashes however completely, as soon as I try the F-4 over the GPU or over the battery type to start. No matter what version of the start I try, the P3D crashes completely at the engine start and a restart of the P3D is necessary.
A start of the F-4 via the detour of a default machine like C-172 does not work either.
Always in the same place (start of the engines) the P3D crashes.

Is someone in the forum, who knows and fixes this problem, for a help I am very grateful.
I apologize to my English (too old to learn the perfect).

Hello,
After updating the F-4 E it now works so well. Unfortunately, I still have the same problems with the F-4 J and F-4 S - the engines do not start !!!

After updating the F-4 E now the engines are running and the machine can also be flown, however, the weapon is not taken over by the tool and the Burradsteuerung does not work either.
Can someone help me here.

You should have gotten an updated update on the patch from your vendor. I just got mine an hour or so ago.

Hello,
I have received an update for the F-4 E but not for the F-4 S and F-4 J.
Thank you very much

Is the update available now available for P3D V3?

If so, where do you get it?

Both the Air Force and Navy F-4's crash when I load them.
