Heads up: Our first Auto Update

Post by JonathanBleeker » Tue May 02, 2017 1:55 pm

Hi guys

If any of you have opened the F4E in your AMS, you have probably noticed the Update notification. If you haven't been there yet, but are seeing this post, go there now and try it. A few guidelines though:

1: Anti Virus programs are again overly aggressive and will probably try to block your download. Turn them off.

2: In the future we may release updates for both TACPACK and the ADV as well as the main base package. If you have any of these installed, don't assume that once the installer runs you have everything. Run the AMS to check for updates again.

3: If you have multiple simulators you wish to install to, DON'T run the AMS to check for updates straight away. First right click on your AMS and open the file location. Go to the Downloads folder and run the installer you find there for the module and install to the desired simulator. Once done, you can open the AMS again to check for further updates.

I found one of these on the AMS, but when I clicked on it, nothing happened. What next?

Update worked fine but is there a change log to see what was updated? Thanks.

Hello i have the AMS and my F 4E is not even showing up at all. I wonder if there two version of the F 4E from Milviz. The F 4E i loaded has a separate destop icon that is blue in color. and it keeps disappearing due to a error .
