P3Dv4.1 Update

Post by Sharkn » Sun Oct 15, 2017 2:19 pm

1) MV Phantom II (no Tacpack Loaded) flew great in P3Dv4, good frame rates (like in FSX-SE), good Multiplayer interaction (like in FSX-SE
2) Updated P3Dv4 to P3Dv4.1
3) When MV Phantom II starts loading, P3Dv4.1 just turns off when cockpit starts to populate
4) Went through P3D troubleshooting as per "General Debugging Steps / How to Post Issue Reports"
5) Issued reports
6) P3Dv4.1 says it is your problem
7) Still not flying MV Phantom II

Would this also explain why the Elevator authority in the F-4E Advanced, for both level flight and turns is extremely restricted, as well as aileron (But to a lesser extent) or have I done something wrong during the installation. I have the same issue with the T-38A Advanced, which was not the case in 3.4. It seems that elevator authority in the aircraft that come with P3D appear to be normal.

It drops when you are at high mach number.

Which would be expected, but I seem to be having the same authority at departure/approach speeds between 190 up to 350 knots at almost sea level. The T-38 gives a stall buffet at lower speeds as well. It is almost as if it never comes out of the restricted movement for mach at lower speeds. Maybe I have to uninstall/reinstall but since I have 4.1 installed and the Module is correct for 4.0 only, maybe I should just wait for 4.1 update and try again. Thanks JB
