I'm afraid the only immediate answer is v3.4.22. We don't support v3.4.18 anymore. The other option is to wait until we release our ADV version which disables the hooks. Should be in the next week or 2.

Sorry Jonathan but I didn´t understand... In Milviz F-4E ADV link says : "Supported Platforms : Prepar3d Version 3 (Latest release, with all hotfixes)"

So who still uses v3.4.18, like our friend above and me would be in the same situation...

Thanks.

While latest version is preferred, the ADV isn't bound to the absolute latest version like the non ADV because it doesn't use version specific hooks.

Also still on P3D v3.4.18, as its stable with respect to my scenery & aircraft collection.
I suspect there are a number of folk who would appreciate it if the F-4 updates were 'backwards compatible" given the multiplicity of P3Dv3.4 versions floating around.

If someone bites the bullet & goes to the latest version of P3D, then loads the F-4 E, J & S updates in the next week or so, could they indicate whether it all worked smoothly & they can fly the F-4's, or if it was not to their liking.
Thanks

I juts updated my P3D to 3.4.22.19868 and my TacPack to 1.4.3.4 and I still get an immediate CTD as soon as I hit fly. It does allow me to select the aircraft and I get the preview on the start screen, but I can't fly it. This is after I updated the F4E to 170424 with it's TacPack update. I did not uninstall the old aircraft and tacpack addon for it, I installed over the old one. Is that a problem?

FWIW it seems that the F4S that I updated to 170426 does load and fly OK.

Uninstall your F-4E (use the latest installer as installer versions don't matter when uninstalling) and then reinstall. Sometimes the installer doesn't overwrite files properly.

I wanted to thank you for working the issues and delivering a solid update. I took it up over the weekend and it flew really well. Cheers!
