I believe I have found the issue. It slipped under the radar and is related to the AMS controls. New build coming up.

JB,

Glad you found the issue.

When do you expect a fix to this?

A new installer has been compiled and will be tested over the weekend/beginning of next week. You should get it shortly thereafter.

Hi,

I just installed the F-4E 1.170424E update and it immediately crashed P3D when it started to load.

Now my assumption is that this download was an UPDATE, to be installed over a previous install???

I did notice that there was a check box to Uninstall the previous install, so that was confusing.....should I have I uninstalled first????

When I clicked on the link, the download I chose was" F-4E Multi-Installer Standard Edition."

So the bottom line after the original fresh install, and two update install, I am pretty frustrated and I still don't not have a working aircraft.

I believe you should choose the 'uninstall' option from the previous version's install menu after backing up your custom liveries.
NB:This is not a hotfix patch. It is a complete installer.

I did what you said and it installed and ran successfully.

However, in the instructions, it said it was an update, which usually means to me to install on top of an existing installation.

I would suggest in the future you describe what the install process should be:

Scenario #1
Install update on top of existing installation.

--or--

Scenario # 2
Uninstall the existing installation, and then install the latest version using a new full installer.

Unfortunately, many developers, including Milviz, never really clarify so it opens up the process to misinterpretation.

Regards,
Bill Clark

I can say right now it is v3.4.22 or not P3D v3 at all. v3.4.18 is not going to work period.

Hi All,

I'm running P3D 3.4.22 client

All three models of aircraft now load and fly - E. J and S models.

However, when I attempt to load the J configuration file I get this error message:

delete the radioF.mlvz files in c:\Users\YOURUSER\Appdata\Local\MVAMS\Configurations\F4J and S then run MVAMS again and set your preferences for the F4J and S
