Multiplayer Issue

Post by Taildragger831 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 11:43 pm

Myself and my associate have both purchased the F-4E w/Tacpack and the ADV model. We are both running the latest version of P3D and Tacpack.

When we try a multiplayer session (both have selected to start Ready to fly), who ever is the host will start running but the other person will start and the engines spool back. When he tries and attach a start cart it shows up on my jet. Also all my controls inputs are done on his jet as well. Please help!

I will let Alvaro comment on the engine start problem, but the start cart and control inputs are due to the behaviour of custom L vars in the sim in multiplayer and can be ignored.

Is he able to start the engines?

The ADV complex engine management makes the use of some Lvars necessary upon sim start. In the case of MP, those Lvars are only read in the host...and hence the engines flameout.

I will look into this issue, but no promises...

Thanks for the responses. If I am understanding this correctly no matter what I do I will always see my inputs on the other aircraft. If I deploy the chute it deploys his. If we fly other aircraft we do not have the same problem, it seams like this shouldn't be happening.

Other aircraft don’t have the same advanced systems.
