Are there pics of the repaints to look at prior to downloading?

Gunnar is a Master Painter - anything with his name on it is generally a good idea to obtain, sight unseen. These schemes are up to his usual standard - which is to say, fantastic. Heck, I'm a USAF guy and I still love these paints!

Many thanks for your massive effort here, Gunnar.

These are Phantastic! I've been looking for Showtime 100 for a while and also a Blue Angel repaint. VX-4 is also in here! What is the story with the second Blue Angel scheme with the stars and bars? Ex Blue Angel working for the NATC?

I've installed Gunnar's Blue Angels repaints, and I get mixed textures on the F-4. Any ideas?

Probably because you installed it in the -E folder, it's intended for the S/J model.

Yes, but the E folder contains 2 "J" models, which should easily accommodate the "J" repaints. Or am I wrong? Can you elaborate? What am I missing? Thanks for the help!

Same thing happened to me.
I think the texture mapping or the naming convention are different between the -J version contained in the -E model and the -J version contained in the S/J model.

Someone from Milviz might explain this better than me. :)

Wow, those skins are awesome. Nice job!!

Man even though I'm a sailor, that jar head 451 bird looks good, the colors go together good.

SergeyevK, that's where the confusion is. The E model contains 2 "J" models when you purchase it. I've also successfully installed a 3rd party "J" model repaint, and it shows up. I also installed 2 other 3rd party "J" model repaints, 1 being Gunnar's, and those 2 don't have matching textures, as you see in my photo. I've noticed that 2 of the 3rd party files that don't show correctly, have a bunch more files in their folders than others. Lot's of specular files. I would still like to find out if, and how I can properly install Gunnar's Blue Angels repaints.

All i know is that they are displayed correctly with S/J model. But yes, it's not clear which livery is for which model.

Is there anyway we can get the blue angels repaint for the E variant? I'd like to fly it with the "advanced series".

Hello together,

please take a look at the folders of other liveries. The textures of the E-version / S-J-version have different Names. You only have to change them.

Many greetings from Bavaria,

Dennis
