Do any of the 350i's you fly have the synthetic vision upgrade to the Proline 21?

Great livery Pierre. Were you at Lanseria when ZS-GJV landed without the gear down?

The pilot insisted that he had put the gear down, the lever was down too, but the investigators could find no abnormalities. Weird one that.

Cheers,

Jerome

Ouch! That was an expensive landing, not to mention a very slow taxi to the hangar...

Hi guys,

Jonathan, no both of ours don't have the synvis upgrade unfortunately! I am looking into it though because it would be nice to have! ;)

Jerome, hahaha I was actually on the apron when GJV came in, they were actually supposed to land at OR Tambo but the ORT Tower controller kindly told them to F$&@ off and go crash somewhere else :D
He had 2 greens and not 3 greens.. The nose gear dropped but didn't extend fully and it didn't want to retract or recycle either so they knew they were going to put it down unfortunately! They left a few engine parts behind along the runway on landing as well so the damage was extensive and extremely expensive! As far as I know.. I think they've scrapped that poor aircraft.

Cheers,
Pierre

Yes, just the cost of a total teardown and rebuild of one engine is scarily expensive, two of 'em plus the other damage?

Yeah I know.. Haha it's not something you ever want to think of as a pilot ..

It was just one pilot onboard.. Luckily he had no pax with him!

Lots of thanks to Pierre for his help on this one. Nothing like the eyes of it's real life pilot for making sure things look right.

Hi Raptor
Yes I'm doing that it'll be N773EU as requested by ryanbatc in another thread. Nice livery eh, of the 'standard' Beechcraft liveries it's the one I like best.

Cheers
John
