Any updates?

Post by N405GJ » Mon Jul 13, 2015 6:14 am

Hey guys, just curious as to the status of any updates or progress on the 350. I'm sure a lot of effort was focused on the recently released F-4, and understandably so. Just wondering where this project stands. Forum seems rather quiet.

The F-4 team is not the same as the ka team so work never stopped.

It is professing but slowly. Rnav is proving difficult.

Hi Guys. I understand the effort developing reliable avionics, but is it possible that You release at least a small update to correct the ugly prop disks? Thanks!

Regards,
Roberto

Though I get that you may not like the prop disks, this is minor in the grand scheme of things.

Take a photo of the prop in flight and this is what I get.

I am not too sure I would say that they have it wrong so much as they have it exactly right if you take a photo of the propeller.

Well Ken, I think the new prop system will be much nicer all around.

Fortunately the eye doesn't work with a shutter like a camera so a prop IRL doesn't look even remotely like that IRL.
Yes but the point is the prop appears to "look" like many things depending on the situation. In my thousands of hours of flying the King Air I have seen the prop disk have blades in it, appear to move backwards, flicker and even disappear. It all depends on angle, light, RPM and even the position and eyesight of the viewer. One persons opinion of what the prop is suppose to look like is totally biased on his perspective.

I applaud the artist for trying something different. The semi transparent paper thin disc has been done to death.
