Just a quick install and load in the sim. In the current release with a 8gb card not usable even with EA off and general texture size at 1024. Sorry. And I fly maddog with my setup without any problems.
Cheers
Thorsten
PS: did a quick comparison: Full default pbr Maddog at FT CYUL 4.3 GB, The King loads with 6.9 and then presents directly an ups out of memory...

Sad the amount of vram used lay's between 6.9 and 7.2 so this will be a no go for me with a Nvidia 1060 GTX with 6gb of vram, hope that you can get this high amount of vram use down, A2A does have there things right with a vram use between 3 and 4 gb.
Cheers,
Ruud

I am experiencing a strange flicker. Any ideas how to get rid of it? Shaders are defaulted.

Had the same, go to panel folder and copy paste the Legacy renders.

Even an 8GB card is barely enough for the TFDI 717 (which is also in beta). Hopefully future updates will be able to address this issue.

At noon, the cockpit is black. It was the most beautiful cockpit in v4.5
It is necessary to return the beauty)
Other airplanes have no such problem.
SRJ Professional is released today and it looks bright.

Hi
Well it's just so good to be back in the KA again after uninstalling P3D v4.5. Thanks.
Just did a quick flight from SKPS to SVSO this evening. Wonderfully smooth and a great experience even on my old PC and looks even better. Couple of things I noticed - the nose wheel is stuck to full right on replay. Also no sounds on start up or spool down - the engines themselves are OK once they start but silence before and after - so startup and spool down sounds seem to be missing. I didn't do anything fancy, just a simple flight plan.
Otherwise 7.5-7.8Gb of VRAM out in the wilds of Colombia (cf 3.8Gb with the Carenado) !!! Glad I got a GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb. But I won't be flying out of Orbx Honolulu any time soon.
I do look forward to a future less VRAM hungry KA. Otherwise forget most of Europe for this one for the time being.
