flight model and other things

Post by KansasCS » Wed Mar 01, 2017 12:26 am

First off, it's a wonderful aircraft! I've been having a blast!
But I noticed a few things and/or have a few suggestions:

When climbing out of a departure and banking, the aircraft twitches and oscilates along around the yaw axis at certain speeds. As if it's bumping into a guardrail constantly along the turn.

Secondly, viewing the afterburner lighting effects from an angle, I noticed that the lighting rings surrounding the inner stream are always perpendicular to the ground, no matter the aircraft pitch. So flying with high pitch angles makes the afterburner glow flatten correspondingly. Shifting the camera directly behind the aircraft makes it harder to notice though.

Thirdly, the engine startup sound seems too short for the startup sequence and it loops twice on startup, which is a minor immersion killer.

Lastly, could you perchance make it so that th manual comm daily can tune into vhf as well, seeing how the TACAN dials into VOR and ILS?

Cheers

Edit: I just found out that the UHF doubles as a VHF transmitter. I didn't bother resting the mouse over it before. :D My bad!
