This is my opinion don't take it personnaly but that fuel probe is kind of a rediculous design flaw.
With all the retractable designs that was design in that era this aircraft could have saved alot in drag ratios.
Read this article in regards to the fuel probe.

Mid-air refuelling probes tend to fall off the wing during high-G maneuvers. This problem got so bad that for a period most refueling probes were actually taken off the F-100D aircraft, pending reinforcement of the underwing structure.

You can edit your aircraft.cfg to allow all your repaints to use the "no_probe" model if you wish. Not sure what this has to do with this repaint....but we've got you covered. ;)
