Problems with GPS configurations
I've just tried using two if the configurations with GPSes in them (both the MilViz 530/430 combo and the Flight1 750 standalone), and I've had problems with both.
First, using the MilViz combo, the units when powered off have an odd look to them, as though there were some texture overlap:

Additionally, they do not power on even when the master battery is on. If I bind the "Avionics On/Off" action to a key and press that, they will get power. It appears that this value may not be being set by the switches in the cockpit when needed. Once on, the graphical glitch continues:

As for the 750, it's a bit more messed up. As soon as the VC loads the textures start cycling very rapidly back and forth between this:

I have installed the service pack, but I do not know if this started with that, this is the first I've played with the GPS configurations. I have the migration tool installed, but it is disabled, and I have tried running as administrator to no effect.

Re: Problems with GPS configurations
I can easily fix the "avionics power" issue. I've added it to my list of "things to do."
As for the GTNs, it's not enough to disable the migration tool. You must remove any "fsx.exe" from the root folder, as it's presence is causing them to fail.

Fair enough, thanks! I can try that when I get back to my sim PC. Does that cause the issue with the MV 530/430 as well?N4GIX wrote:As for the GTNs, it's not enough to disable the migration tool. You must remove any "fsx.exe" from the root folder, as it's presence is causing them to fail.

Re: Problems with GPS configurations
I removed all the stub FSX binaries, but the problem was not resolved. I see others complaining of similar problems here, though:

I'll wait for that update to come out and see if it fixes my issues, too!

You absolutely certain there is no FSX.exe in the task manager processes list when running P3D?
