Beaver - Fsx Sp2

Post by Shortlander » Thu Jun 01, 2017 3:27 am

Dear All,

I run Fsx Sp2, which is not included in the compatibility list. Could the devs or anyone savvy enough let me know what functionalities are likely to be affected if I purchase and run the beaver ?

Thank you,

Best,

Shortlander

I was wondering myself, then I downloaded the manual. This is a page from it
2.1 System Requirements
The following requirements apply as a minimum to successfully
install and operate the MilViz DHC-2.
Please note that choice of scenery, location, simulator
settings and 3rd party utilities may place additional
demands on your simulation platform.
2.1.1 Supported Platforms:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Service Pack 2 (SP2)
Note: Service Pack 2 is required, aircraft may not function
correctly with Service Pack 1 or earlier. The Acceleration
expansion pack is fully supported but not
required.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Steam Edition
Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, version 2
Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, version 3
Note: Our product is tested with and designed for the
most recent update to Prepar3D version 3 (version
3.4 at the time of this publication); this includes all
hotfixes available. For compatibility with any future
updates and hotfixes to version 3, please register for
and visit our product forums. Compatibility with future
versions of Prepar3D is not implied nor included.
2.1.2 Supported Operating Systems:
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 10
2.1.3 Processor (CPU)
2.4 GHz single core processor required (3.0 GHz, multiple
core processor or better recommended)
2.1.4 Video Card (GPU)
DirectX 9 compliant video card with 1024 MB video
ram
2.1.5 System Memory (RAM)
4 GB RAM
2.1.6 Hard Drive
2.5 GB or greater hard drive space
2.1.7 Gaming Controller
Joystick, yoke, or other gaming controller
Note: All MilViz products require a functioning gaming
device such as a joystick for proper operation

I have used it a few hours on FSX sp2 windows 8.1 and the only problem I have is my Elite Avionics will not control the VOR or the ADF. On the Milviz B55 it works fine.
