It seems your DLL.XML is ok.

Now, please check in Control Panel/Programs & Features/Uninstall a program, that these Redistributables are present:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 Redistributable

Here you have the links:

2005:
https://www.microsoft.com/es-ar/downloa ... px?id=3387

2008:
https://www.microsoft.com/es-ar/downloa ... aspx?id=29

2010:
https://www.microsoft.com/es-ar/downloa ... px?id=5555

2015:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=53587

Start with 2005 version, 2008 Version might be left appart if the Beaver works fine with the rest installed.

Tom,

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 Redistributable download is no longer available from that link.
If it's a must-have for the Beaver, do you have another link?

Seldom do we hear when something works...but here is my input.

Had the gauge and aircraft not starting problem as mentioned by others in this post. Re-downloaded all the Microsoft Redistributable (it did appear that I was missing one, I believe from 2005) and manually added the DLL file into my P3dv3.4 dll as posted above.

That did it for me. RPM gauge works as expected and aircraft starts when proper checklist start up is completed. Now I'm off to see why I can't get certain channels to work on the Nav. Radio (KHz jump is too wide when trying to set.)

Thank you,
Dean

I have P3D V4 installed and I think the problem that I have with my gauges is that the Beaver is not compatible for this version yet

Taguilo,

My compliments on your efforts to help your fellow pilots. I've noticed this in many others posts too. Perhaps you could "tutor" others on your staff on public relations, to include customer appreciation for purchasing MV products, and therefore availing them the opportunity to pay their mortgages, pay for groceries, power bills etc. ;)

Thanks for the courteous and professional manner you show when attempting to help us.

Kind Regards, Eagle

My guage lights do not work with instrument light switch on and with cabin light switch on the nav radios get flooded which is really weird. map light appears inop. Windows10 P3d V4

I also have an issue with the engine sound coughing and hesitating-puffs of smoke from the exhaust. any ideas? everything is on admin in the properties including my entire P3D folder and access is set to full control. thanks

I have DLL, Dllasbackup and a bunch of similar but not exactly as listed above. I also have no instrument lights on the DHC2 or now after just installing the DHC3. W10 V4.1 I made sure AVwas off and ran as administrator with UAC off. I have yet to get support to my post from over a week ago. Anyone? This is so weird. I also have the latest visual it's a new PC never had FSX or prior P3D other than 4.0 just before 4.1 came out. thanks. I really want to fix this.

FWIW I see the weirdly floodlit radio panel in Win 7 FSX as well, when the cabin light is on. All looks correct and the instrument lights look good once turning the panel lights on and cabin lights off, though.

The coughing is due to your not having the correct settings. Please check the manual. (it's detonations).

the night lighting... if you press L, this is the result you will get. DO not press L.

Read the manual CAREFULLY.

Also, make sure that you are running the sim (and the MVAMS) as administrator.

UAC must be off.

When you download and install any updates, you MUST make sure that you disable your AV. (windows defender is considered AV)

I'm not pressing L. I'm not pressing anything. The radio stack is improperly lit, just like in the screenshots above, when the plane loads up cold and dark for a nighttime flight. The cabin light defaults to on, which I appreciate, but the radio stack is lit like it's daylight. Looks weird. Doesn't much bother me as I turn the cabin light off as soon as I have the instrument lights on... just offering that Chuck-P isn't the only one to see this.
