CF-LRS

Post by Ranger75 » Sat Aug 12, 2017 11:32 pm

CF-LRS is a stand-alone follow-up repaint based on my earlier C-FRBB and is intended primarily once again for the amphibian, but is useable on all Standard and Spray 'n Play variants. There are some small changes in the paint scheme and this callsign is fictional. C-FRBB can be updated using the 'Beaver_ext_2.dds' file from this one.
In 1974, Canadian aircraft identification was changed from CF-xxx (xxx = 3 letters) to C-Fxxx and C-Gxxx. CF-xxx can still be used on 'vintage aircraft' built before 1957, so this Beaver is good for the present or for the good old days.

This is just so wrong - like wearing a tuxedo to dig a ditch or shovel the snow. But it works, and it's fun!

Still writing up the installation instructions and testing. Ten models makes it a rather tedious process! Should be uploaded to flightsim soon though.

Nice job! Thankfully it's easy to get straight lines along the sides. ;)

Hi Ron.
Are you going to redo your yellow and red US aircraft. It was,in my opinion<the best repaint of the aircraft.

Cheers Chris

No, sorry. One session of pain in the arse is sufficient thanks. I did look at the new paint kit to see if transferring layers over was an option but I didn't have the heart for it. :|

Files to update and correct some faults in C-FRBB [Beaver_C-FRBB.zip] and CF-LRS [Beaver_CF-LRS.zip] are included in 'Beaver_C-GFRX.zip' at flightsim, 28 August 2017.
