GTN750 not working with Baron E55

Hi anyone know why GTN750 does not appear in Baron B55? Clicked GTN750 when installing, and the little panel that appeared when loaded into FSX saying shift 3 for - presumably - GTN750. Shift 1 works and shift 4 produces only a black elongated black bloke lower right of tool bar. All very frustrating - anyone cleaver out there who can tell me why? Best Derren.

Hello Derren , having looked at the instructions in the supplied Read Me First.pdf I came to understand the confusion and your situation better. The B55 was among the first of our products to support the panoply of addon navigational equipment and required more user input than was later the case where these were controlled by the MVAMS system.

I pasted an excerpt below and attached the original .pdf so the instructions are better formatted and in context .

Should you be inclined to do the following your options will be available immediately , If not paste your aircraft.cfg into a zip file and ill do the modifications for you if its attached to your reply

If you’ve chosen to install any of the available 3rd party avionics
options, you will need to perform additional, critical steps to use your
3rd party gauges.
1) Using a text editor, open your aircraft.cfg file which is found in
the ‘SimObjects\Airplanes\Beech_Baron_B55 Milviz’ folder in your
simulation directory. To edit the E55 variant, open the aircraft.cfg
file found in the ‘SimObjects\Airplanes\Beech_Baron_E55 Milviz’
folder.
2) For any livery you wish to add your 3rd party avionics to, change
the ‘model=’ and ‘panel=’ enteries according to the following chart:
