All three fuel tanks

Post by fbennar » Fri Mar 01, 2019 11:41 am

It is possible to have all three fuel tanks. In flying this way, the great Corsair was wonderful, stable and very maneuverable. Very great!!!

Sure dear friend Osh, all the fuel amount correct, 709 gals total, that is: Main 187, Reserve 50, Right drop tank 150, Left drop tank 150, Center drop tank 172. To use the reserve, all the other tanks must be empty, otherwise, if Reserve is active, the fuel come from the Center drop tank. Anyway there is a procedure to set all three tanks: After shift-1, check the Left Pylon, check the Right Pylon, check the Center Pylon. After the Center Pylon checked, Left Pylon and Right Pylon goes unchecked. Check again left and right, and, this time, do not check the center Pylon on the square box, but click on the its right were is written "clean". That's all. With all the 709 gals the fly was excellent. I think this aircraft is very well built, really a must have.
Bye dear friend.
