Nosing over after update/hotfix[Answered]

Post by alexporter76 » Mon Jul 12, 2021 10:48 pm

If I am not mistaken there was an update or hotfix recently issued to correct the nosing over issue? The inclusion of a ballast in the rear end I believe yes? After this fix my Corsair has a tendency to nose over immediately when starting a flight. The only way around this issue for me is to start at an airport with a headwind or no wind at all. Even just a slow tailwind 5 to 7 knots seems enough to cause a problem and she noses over. Has this issue been recognised or did something go wrong for me with the update?

You have to set the ballast yourself. There are lengthy instructions on the thread with the new version and the manual has been updated to reflect that.

Ahh I see. Sorry for the unnecessary post. Will go and look it up.
