Oops I broke my new Turbo Otter
I picked up the Turbo Otter tonight, congrats on a great aircraft! The engine sounds are really well done and add a great sense of immersion.
I went for an initial flight tonight Juneau to Yakutat, flying west from Juneau to the coast the north to Yakutat. All was going fine, I was descending to clear some clouds (flying VFR), when suddenly I heard a pop and my engine died. I'm guessing I must have gone outside the limits for torque or RPM and toasted my first engine. I was over water, but was able to coast back to land, find a clear field and make an emergency landing.
Though I didn't make it to my final destination, I still had a great flight and the emergency landing was one of the most fun things I've done in P3D in a while.
Bravo on a great aircraft!
