Dynamic Reflections

Post by rlaycock » Thu Jan 10, 2019 5:29 am

Hi all
I have many MILVIZ products and enjoy them all.

However my latest one is the Turbo Otter. Although I like it, I do have a issue with dynamic reflections also called "False reflections" by Krazycolin in one of his posts when he was trying to help me". My issue with the reflections has not been resolved which effective means I cant use the Turbo otter.

I would like to get the PA-30 Twin Comanche but I am reluctant to bye as it may also have the issue of False Reflections.

Could some one confirm that this add on has the False reflections or if I get it and it has them will I be able to het a refund.

Thanks in advance if you can help.
Bob

What happens when you turn off Dynamic Reflections?

We don't operate a trialware business model, but I can certainly take some screen caps for you to evaluate. Let me know what conditions make it look worse in the Turbo Otter.

Update: I have talked with our programmers and they tell me the Twinkie does not use the same texture set.

Hi
Can you please post some screen shots with dynamic reflections turned off and looking out the windscreen also if you could let me know if in these conditions you get several white lines moving across the windscreen
Please note I also have the beaver and the piston otter which work fine with reflections turned off.

Thanks for the help
Bob

One with Dynamic Reflections on and one with them off - I can't see any difference. No white lines, but a bit of dirt on the windshield.

Hi
Thanks for your advise and help.
I can report I bought the PA30 and I have no issue with the dynamic reflections that I have with the turbo otter.

However when I selected free radio as my panel I did have the second GPS imposed over the autopilot!.
I then selected default panel and all looks to be fine, so its not a major issue.

Do you have any further advice on how I can get rid on the white arcs I experience with the turbo otter?
I have now 4 MILVIZ products the TA38A, the Beaver with the spray and play, the Piston Otter, the Turbo Otter and the PA 30, only the Turbo Otter had the strange "false reflections" which are like whit arc across the windshield.

Thanks again
Bob
