Missions in P3d v.4

Post by DocZ » Sat Mar 17, 2018 2:52 pm

Included in the C310R Redux package is a set of missions that appear to be aimed at FSX. Can these be used in P3d v.4 and, if so, where to are they installed? Thanks

There are no missions included in the installer. They are available however as a separate download.

Right, sorry. I downloaded them, but my original question still stands.

Have no idea. We didn't test them... try them and see. Again, we do not provide support for these... nor do we take any responsibility for what happens if you should install them.

(There's no virus or anything like that... just we didn't test them)

I have modified (barely) the mission pack to work with P3Dv4

There were some small issues with directory pointers to the weather/themes folder. I also had to change a few resource path problems. Lastly, none of the missions was pointing to any of the Cessna 310R variations as named in the airport.cfg, so I changed those names in the mission to match the first instance titled "Cessna 310R N5077J". Otherwise the missions would never find the 310R planes. There were some other folder changes for the locations of the mission files that had changed in P3D vs. the FSX folders. This .ZIP will now correctly place the files for P3Dv4.

There are two folders in the .ZIP file attached. Drop the first one into the root of your C: drive. Drop the second one into your main P3Dv4 folder. It should not overwrite any files unless you have previously installed the Cessna 310R missions pack.

I have tested these and they work with P3Dv4.3. I suspect this would also work in P3D version 3, but I did not test it since I do not have v3.

These are pretty good. I hope Milviz will make this download available for all Cessna 310R customers in the same location as the old version I found.

Enjoy!

I seem to be having trouble uploading the 425.1 MB file. Can someone at Milviz contact me to get the file from me and attach it somewhere where others can download it?

OK, I posted a link here for those who wish to download. Milviz, please relocate the file to your servers after you check it out. I can't host it here for forever. [LINK REMOVED AFTER MILVIZ POSTED FILE ON THEIR SERVER (See Below)]
