Improvement yes, but still a couple issues. The 2D and VC fuel selectors don't match in settings, but the larger issue is there's no longer any way to use the aux. fuel tanks as they don't appear under the Vehicle and fuel menu items, only the main tanks are available.

Chuck,

This what I am seeing in the 2d panel P3DV4.1. The HSI is broken. I did uninstall and then install 171202 version.

I thought you would want to know.

For some reason P3D would only load with one external tank filled so I had modified the cfg to have it load both without fuel in them , seems it wasn't reading those tanks anymore .
the attached aircraft.cfg rectifies this behavior .
Note this was only P3D with the issue .

Regarding the popup panels , I have fixed these to work in V4 but it will take an update to put them into game as there are too many bits to get installed cleanly to have it posted here .

Ill prepare the new version .

Hi CJ, does it mean you'll create a different installer than v171202?

Thanks in advance
cheers

I installed the Dec. 2nd update yesterday. Thanks for keeping it up to date!

I had 2 issues:

- Altimeter readout counts every feet. The digits should roll every 100'.
- during low RPM on the ground, the soundfile cracks with every repeat.

Other than that, I had a very pleasant nightflight.

Most recent flight revealed the following. The co-pilot's altimeter is stuck at 9,000 ft. irregardless of altitude. The fuel selector doesn't indicate what fuel tanks are actually burning fuel. I had set my flight to left and right main tanks in both 2D and VC mode, but only the right tank was burning fuel. Once I moved the left VC fuel selector to the right tank (with both selectors on right main), then fuel was now being burned evenly from both the left and right mains. To say I needed to use a lot of rudder to land would be an understatement. Please, please, correct the problems with this plane. I can't enjoy it in it's current state.

The landing is the way it's supposed to be. That's the way it flies.

The rest... will be fixed...

Happily all items mentioned here have been resolved in a new version being given a shakedown by the beta team , the new .exe will be released after being assessed .

There were a number of P3D items that have been proving different with fuel systems and their use , hopefully I got them all .

Thanks for your patience .

I'm not criticizing the landing characteristics, it was only the uneven fuel flow that left my plane out of balance.

Very glad to read that a new .exe is under testing, I'll be patient until it's ready.

I miss flying this plane. Any news on when you expect to have the latest installer ready?
