Colin,

Screenshots posted are a work of art! The alligator skin behind the burner cans reminds me of the walk-around pre-flight. I can just feel the soot! LOL You are doing the Rhino proud. You guys doing a DCS version too? Pretty please ...

Cheers,

Backy

Same here...!
Have had the pleasure to have control over those two J79 before (testing the engines and take them up to 83%)...and it would be great to relive those moments...

But what do I know about beta testing anyways...

BUT...

any news about using TacPack? It will be possible (I hope "YES"!!!) for Your F-4?

It can be the first Milviz aircraft with TacPack Standalone version integration.

Absolutely foaming at the mouth over that Shady J skin! I'm ready to go burner over Wilber's BBQ with that baby! Any chance a 21st TFTS "Cheetah" skin might be made circa George AFB 1984?

Censored this is just stunning !! I seem to remember posting a rant on here months ago asking for a Phantom and it seems my prayers are answered ! Well done Milviz, credit card is ready. So, pushing my luck a bit, is there any chance of a RAF / RN variant with Speys to keep us Brits happy ?

Cant wait for this, keep up the great work.

Edited: watch your language please!!!

Paint Kit

Post by odourboy » Wed Jun 04, 2014 2:57 pm

Hi all,

I am putting the finishing touches on a VF84 'Jolly Roger' livery for the F-4J and I've come across an issue that I wanted to bring to your attention - wondering if there's a bug in the J model. I've attached a composite screen shot showing the aircraft on the left and a section of the texture file F4E_12_ext (used only in the J), with a red arrow pointing at the object in question. For some reason, this object (landing gear panel and light) does not seem to be getting applied properly.

Also, I wanted to ask: The terms of the paint kit indicate MilViz has the right (but not the obligation) to include liveries produced by the kit, prior to product release, in the product. But it does not say how we should get these liveries to MilViz. Is there a place I can upload it to, or can I just email it to Colin?

Cheers!

Edit to add: I noticed that the same issue applies to the smaller landing gear cover panel section just in front of the larger one, and it occurs in the 'J' livery supplied by MilViz in the paint kit also. So I'll go out on a limb and say the problem is not with the livery, but the model?!

It's the model.

I'll see whT I can do about getting a fixes version soonest.

Delivery of the paints should be done to kat@milviz.com

Thanks.
