A Strike Eagle Would Be No Good Without Weapons

Is a good thing we are all going to have plenty to choose from. We will have more previews for this aircraft coming up as various elements are being completed. So here are a few different load configurations for the F-15E.

This is the clean loadout, with the conformal fuel tanks installed.

Have the AGM-130 air to surface missle and the CBU-87

Full load of CBU-87 Bombs

Ferry configuration with conformal fuel tanks and external fuel tanks.

Got some GBU-27's on this one with 2 external fuel tanks.

GBU-28 Bunker Busters with 2 external fuel tanks.

Couldn't fit them all in one post. So here are the rest.

One loadout with JDAM smart bombs.

Second loadout with JDAM smart bombs.

Image
GBU-10 2,000LB Bomb loadout

Image
GBU-12 500LB LGB loadout

And for the last shot here is one loaded down with AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 Sparrow missles. Keep in mind you will not be restricted to these loadouts as you will be able to load the weapons in any kind of configuration you wish. As always comments are welcome.

Bloody...I knew an F-15 was capable of carrying a lot of weapons, but so many ...
First day as moderator, and I'm already learning new things :). Let me know if I can help with betatesting, whether with the F-15's, or the Lightning, etc...

IIRC, it has 6 pylons from the CFT's alone, and then additional hardpoints are added on for a total of around a 24,000 LB load. Much easier than gettin' the old B-29's out. ;)

Uh.. yah... That's a F-15C on a ballistic take off. if about two minutes, he'll be at 40,000 feet or more.... (could be a she driver though...in which case we'd be looking at 50K or more...)

Nice paint job on the rockets!

colin...

50k feet clearance in all directions?

And I suspect that plane better move fast, it appears that those JATO bottles have some modifications.

Interesting modification with the rocket motors. With 58,000 pounds of thrust though I think she already has all she needs.
