This one is getting difficult to wait for. I'm guessing this will be my new favorite aircraft to fly.

Any release news?

It has been over a month since it was " just the ACM to write"

The development of this long awaited aircraft appears to be descending into a farce.
There was going to be a pre Christmas release.
In January it was being beta tested and would be released soon.
After a member posted some pre release pictures on simouthouse it appears that the windscreen shape was wrong and the pilot too small. There was also debate about the shape of the nose.
Three weeks ago we were informed that all that was left was to write the ACM.
Now we are informed that the FD is ongoing.(Why the use of all these abreviations I do not Know)
I assume this is the flight dynamics.
I understood that the flight dynamics were being done by John Young of Realair and was assured by many members that he was one of the best and that he had completed this task a long time ago.
This part of the forum is called work in progress but to get any real progress information is well nigh impossible.
Colin please give us a work in progress report with some pictures and a TRUE status.
Cheers Chris

I'm sorry that you feel that this is a farce.

We give out the information we feel is relevant to the situation.

It's not John... it's Rob Young.

We always release when it's a ready as it can be. The beaver is not ready. Complaining about it in the manner in which you have done is not helping us.

Patience please.

The way A2A does it precludes any dissatisfaction about progress. Nothing is said until 'Tada!' Come 'n' geddit' :D

I agree with you Ron. I suppose the King Air is a forbidden discussion topic.

You're allowed to do whatever you want, but doing so here may well get you banned as certain things are not allowed: swearing, name calling, egregious behavior, rudeness, accusations of impropriety without proof and, finally, discussions that center on whether or not we somehow took money for vaporware...

You're free to say pretty much anything else but we don't have to respond and your comments may well vanish as a result.

You will note that we didn't delete any of the comments made by Chris even though I, personally, find his attitude offensive and immature.

Colin at 79 years of age I find the accusation of immaturity praise indeed.

Yes maybe but I feel the word senile is more appropriate than immature.Try senile old fool.

Now from a senile old man to a young boy.

Tell the world there has been a bit of a hiccup and you are sure the beaver will be released within the next x months. That will get us off your back.

Colin I am not trying to be offensive I am just eager to put money in your sweaty palm for an aircraft I think will be well produced.

Cheers Chris

Chris,

I have to concur with your last comments. There seems to be an arrogant elite within MV that seem to forget that we are the source, ultimately, of there success. We've been listening to the empty talk for sometime, so I don't blame sim enthusiasts for getting a little impatient. We have no way of knowing whats going on behind the MV doors, or to know how diligent they are with the Beaver progression. My solution was to reinstall my BeaverX. She's a nice/decent bird for bush. I'm thinking the MV Beaver is going to be pricy. Will wait n see.

Re: immaturity. ILMAO. It certainly shows, doesn't it? The term "boy", very appropriate. To get into a topic of "Banning" seems like a bit of an attempt to intimidate.

For the most part, MV has done a very nice job on it's products, thats why I buy em! (selectively). No problem with the products, just with those who represent MV, at times.

Hey MV, we are the reason you exist. To ask you to listen to us isn't a reason to ban. As paying customers, we should have the right to express ourselves regarding your products.

Regards, Eagle

We do listen....But there is a need of an element of trust on the part of the customers. We know full well that to leave you in the lurch will do absolutely no good. The reason why there is more silence however, is because it has turned out countless times that when we give explanations of what is going on behind the scenes, we don't get attempts to understand, we get condemnation by armchair developers who think we should do it their way when they don't know the difference between table 420 and table 1505 or between a bool and a float, or between a vertex and a pixel. So all we ask is that the customers trust that we know what we are doing and know that we aren't going to leave them in the dark all the time. We still do give explanations when certain decisions are made and trusting our judgement as to why we made such decisions will make things smoother for both parties.
