For those of you who are using the T-38A in MP and are experiencing flooding issues, this will fix your problems.

Hey Colin...

Does the flooding fix disable the auto afterburner effects when the throttle is pushed to the firewall?

Since I installed the flooding fix, the only way for me to get the AB effect working is to actually toggle the smoke function in FSX.

It should not have any affect whatever. All I did was move one K:event into a one second timing loop to prevent the "flooding" from occuring.

That said, as the entire AB system runs off of the "Smoke" system, and the initialization code in the logic file automatically turns on (virtually presses the I key for you), then I suspect that something else is interferring with that and turning it off again.

One more reinstall of the addon fixed it.. Everything seems to be running as it should..

Thanks

I'm still showing flooding after the fix; can anyone else confirm that there is no longer MP flooding of non-axis events?

Thanks Colin,

I'm obviously having a hard time getting things installed properly (since my F-86 is also having issues). I re-downloaded and re-installed the T-38 from the website today (after having deleted my T-38A Milviz folder). I chose the "reinstall" option in the wrapper, pointed to my license key, and it installed.

I opened it up in FSX and I used FSUIPC to check for flooding and I had flooding. I then closed FSX, and dropped the new T-38 logic into the panel folder. Re-started the sim, and I still have the flooding.

Any ideas?

Chris

Nope. And to be honest, this isn't going to be looked at any further at this time. Sorry, but as I previously stated, MP was not in the cards for the T-38a. We will look at this further when we are releasing the T-38c
