This goes into your T-38's panel folder:

This goes into your T-38's texture folder:

Is there a fix for this with v3.4 of P3d? I've copied over these files and nothing happens.

It should work fine with P3D v3.4. Make sure there is no fsx.exe in the task manager when running, due to the migration tool.

Thank you - I am using the Milviz installer for the T38 to install into Prepar3d, so there's no converion from FSX. The bird shows up and flies, but the interior lights dont work :(

Derek.

You must disable entirely the conversion utility or the lights will not work.

Hi Colin - please forgive my lack of knowledge here...I am running P3d v3.4 and all I did was install the T38 for Prepared and copy over the two files linked in this thread. What conversion utility is being referenced? I don't believe I am running anything like that and dont have the T38 installed into my FSX program :/ Thank you!

when you are running P3D, if you open the task manager, do you see FSX.exe in the task list?

If so, you must disable this.

No, FSX doesn't run when P3d is running.

Did you disable the antivirus before downloading and installing?

Is your AV told to not look in the p3d directory?

Is uac off?

Hi Derek

The concern was that you might be running the Estonia Migration tool which is known to interfere with the cockpit lighting in P3D by creating a fake "fsx.exe" program.

Since that is not applicable, the other question is whether you are running P3D as admin. Right click on your Prepar3d.exe, select properties->Compatibility and make sure that Run this program as administrator is checked.

Wow - setting it to run as ADMIN worked! i am running this with FlyInside. The panel lights fire up like a champ. Thank you!
