64 bit??

Post by sniperpr1 » Thu May 25, 2017 2:53 am

I have read that this aircraft cannot be installed in 64 bit systems. Could someone clarify?? I want to purchase it, but both my computers are 64 bit.

Thanks.

It will work in a 32 bit sim. Not in a 64 bit sim.

Is there any chance that the F-15 will be ported to 64-bit in the future?
...it's one of my favorite aircrafts... :?

It is possible though... if it does happen, it won't be soon.

Am I understanding that it won't work in Win7 64 bit? Wanted to make sure because that's what I run and I've been eyeing this plane. If I misunderstood sorry but just wanted to know. Thanks as always!

It's not the operating system that's the problem. It's the sim. Fsxa works fully. But everything else... not so much.

Oh okay. I misunderstood. That's great as I was thinking of getting it. Looks great! Fell in love with this plane years ago in Microprose's old game f15 Strike Eagle 3. Of course this one looks much better! :)

When you say 64bit, the first thought that comes to our minds is P3D v4. It will work fine on FSX, or any P3D version(with some problems) except v4 where it won't work at all.

Thats a real shame, probably fair to say that FSX is pretty much dead and most of us will be transitioning to P3DV4 and will want to take our F15's with us. I do hope Milviz will make this and your other awesome products
V4 compatible as soon as possible.

Cheers. Buster.

To be clear, the F-15E MAY not work in anything but FSX Acceleration. It's not supported in anything other than that but you are free to try it.

We cannot bring that version into the future so we are, maybe, going to redo it.
