CTD
Hi guys,
I have written an email to Roadrunner and its probably to early to expect a reply, but I'm getting Crash to Desktop all the time . This is a brand new Win7 64 and P3d v2.4 re-install about a week ago . Heaps of scenery installed and about half a dozen aircraft at this time. It's been working beautifully.
I have just noticed at an attempted reinstall that the install has P3D professional written on it . I'm P3D academic , does this make a difference . The purchase page I'm looking at doesn't seem to make the distinction.
Cheers, Alan

Re: CTD
Sorry Colin but I just don't get it .
On your purchase page i I made this choice...quote..
P3Dv2 TacPack Edition: Installer for P3Dv2 only
No mention of V4 or V5 ? I just cant see anyother choices if I want Tacpac P3D V2.X.
Maybe I have a "real" problem with the Install/sim .
Thanks

Re: CTD
It makes no difference on our part....It will on VRS's side though. And yes best update to the latest v2.5. There is a timing function that is slightly different compared to v2.4....

Re: CTD
The assumption is being made on our part that the user will have the latest updates of their sim. That's a fair assumption and one that we will continue to make.

I think the penny has dropped !.. Your telling me to install V5 first then everything will be ok...Ok , no problems ! ...except I had an Ox80004005 error on V5 install , which seemed to be an O.S.fault as far as I could make out, hence the the Win7 reinstall, which didn't fix it but that is not your problem !
I'll sort the P3D install and go from there .
Cheers
