Red Bull P-38 CTD in P3Dv3.3.5

I took adavantage of the free offer (thank you!) and installed the Red Bull P-38 in P3Dv3.3.5.
I get an instant CTD when selecting this aircraft. Some of my other Milviz aircraft (eg. the F-100) work fine, but I also have a similar problem with my T-38 Talon and have seen references in my Google searches to the F-4 Phantom (which I don't have) not working.
I realise that there's no official support for the P-38 Redux when offered as free, but I can't even run it so I'm wondering if I might still get some help (!) - anything would be appreciated.
