Does this work with 77 & the 177 autopilots?

It appears that it does, but I want to be sure.

Yes. The video demonstration is using the SP77 as a matter of fact. 8-)

I understand it works with the 77.

I wanted to make sure it worked with the 177, also.

I read your answer as Yes it works with the 177 also.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I didn't want to start a new thread and clutter up the forum.

I am using the V-one gauge with the Milviz 737 and the gauge works fine on the SP-177 planes, but using the SP-77 panels the gauge itself works (calculations, display, etc) but there are no sound call-outs. Tried a complete re-install by directions but no joy.

Any help with this great gauge would be helpful, I generally prefer the older SP-77 panel and fly them the most.

Sorry it's taken this long to answer!

Check under [Window00] & [VcockPit01] in the panel.cfg and change:

FROM:
gauge00=Milviz_B737!B737_XMLSound, 0,0,1,1,SimObjects\\Airplanes\\Milviz Boeing 737-200\\sound\\B737#22

TO:
gauge00=Milviz_B737!B737_XMLSound, 0,0,1,1,SimObjects\\Airplanes\\Milviz Boeing 737-200\\sound\\B737

All removing the #22 does is allow the gauge to gobble up slots for 200 sound files. It would be more efficient to simply take the highest numbered sound file, and add +1 to it and revise the entry.

Example: SND102.wav is the highest numbered sound file, so the entry should be #103

Hi Bill,

Yes, you are correct. Although, I numbered my sound files 160 to 200.

I'm currently working on an update that will correct this issue and a couple of others on the V-One gauge.
Hope to have it released by this weekend.

Along this same issue:

I re-installed the 737-200 just two days ago using a fresh download.

I noticed that panel.s177\panel.cfg is missing the '#22' [Window00] & [VcockPit01] from the installed file (s77 & FMS panel entries are present).

Seems anyone that's unaware of this requirement that doesn't have the V-One gauge installed will be loading 200 sound slots anyway.

Interesting catch! As I happens I am in the middle of compiling a new P3Dv2/v3 installer, and managed to fix this omission from that panel.cfg file before it was too late. 8-)

Can't for the life of me get this must have gauge installed, best i get is shift 5 and a black box comes up black for a spit second and goes away. Without this gauge flying this bird is not nearly as real.

I'm struggling myself. I get the window to come up and all numbers seem to populate *except* V1/VR/V2, regardless of flap setting.

I've tried to get it working in the current P3D v4 but no joy. Has anyone got it working? I don't want to keep banging my head on a wall if it's not going to work. :)
