We are implementing PBR in all our forthcoming aircraft.
Some of you have expressed an interest in having PBR in some of our older products.
We are considering this, but it is not a small job. If it were, we would surely do it gratis. However to do both the external and cockpit properly will take about a month per plane, so we would have to charge a fee to cover the cost.
What we want to know is how many would go for it, and for what planes. Do you care about PBR in the VC, or just the shiny outsides?
The more who want it, the lower the price. If no one wants to pay, we won't bother.

Well, I would love to see a PBR VC for the 310R Redux and the Twin Comanche. Have no problem whatsoever with paying for the work. I would expect to pay for it. And appreciate the offer.

I'd pay for an update for the Beaver and the F-86. I'd like PBR on the Beaver's VC, but maybe not the Sabre.

Honestly, I would look at cost vs. benefit. I would want to see the both VC and the outside, I don't think I would pay for just the exterior.

probably... maybe... not sure... we will see what's involved... but that's an excellent question

what's a guestimate on upgrade cost guys. I would probably do exterior + VC. that would make the most sense.

I think we're looking at 15$. this would allow us to do both VC and External.

Until they sort out the specular aliasing, I will not be buying an addon aircraft again, unless there is a non-PBR option !
And many others agree.
It looks a total mess currently.
The thought of paying to have it adding...... hehe, made my day

Only 18? I wanted to vote for them all!
Specular aliasing will be addressed for SSAA, but to reduce the problem (which is common in ALL 3D games/simulators not just P3D) there are other techniques that can be used in the materials. But isn't this thread about selecting one's favorite aircraft to convert to PBR? Well done PBR looks fantastic, Carenado, PMDG, Madddog, and several others have done an excellent job with PBR ... set a non-PBR aircraft next to a PBR aircraft and it's VERY obvious how flat and light lifeless the non-PBR aircraft looks.
I don't buy any new aircraft unless they come with a PBR option.
