ATR

I thought I saw a teaser somewhere that you were building an ATR, not sure what model. I would certainly love this plane if you are doing it, meanwhile I am hanging on for your K350.

Is the ATR news correct, and I would appreciate the roughest of ball-park estimates as to completion.

Any rough release date? I am not trying to do an Aerosoft on you, just looking for a ballpark month or year.

Looking good, but my best guess from your screenies is well into next year: depending how much work you have done on FDE etc. I shall comport myself in patient impatience.

The main work is in code - it's not so photogenic.

Can you *please* include from Air New Zealand paints in this? They fly th AR-72 (though I haven't checked whether it is the 600, to be fair)

UPDATE: confirmation AirNZ run th 600... https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/fleet
Several NZ'ers I think looking forward to this (myself included) so NZ paints would be welcomed I'm sure.
Thanks

Hi Oisin, I mentioned this on the FB livery post a few months back, but just to repeat: The ZK - MC* registrations are all of the older -500 series ATR's, which are being phased out currently.

The Air NZ -600's are all rego ZK - MV*

Looking forward to this product.

Thank you, yes, we had the number adjusted - but don't have an image to prove it!

All good Oisin.

Air NZ will ultimately have 29 of the -600's in service, making it the third or possibly fourth largest fleet of the type in the world I believe. Current rego range is MVA-MVX minus one or two of that range which are privately held.

I expect Milviz will have considerable interest from NZ simmers as the type is very much the backbone of provincial ATO here these days. Additionally Air NZ (more specifically their subsidiary Mt Cook Airlines) is leading the charge on RNP-AR capability for the type, something which interests me as I'm a procedure designer here by trade. Hoping your implementation of the ATR will have RF leg capability, amongst the other related features.

Hopefully not too long to wait now!
