OK so after discovering the same problem... I had to load the default C172, fly now, start the 172, shut it down and then I selected another aircraft, loaded the 407 in cold and dark and then it started up as normal.

After shutting down the heli and then exiting the game completely I then restarted fsx and then selected the 407 from my menu, went into the sim (fly now) and then it would not start again. Reloaded the 172, as I did above then loaded the 407 and it works as before.

The only add-ons I have are some other 3rd party aircraft that have no problems at all. I do not have any add-on scenery or any other things loaded at this time and my FSUIPC is the latest version for FSX.

Is there a fix for this or some other work-around that will work instead of having to depend on the 172? This has never done this before and I'm no newbie to the tricks of the trade so to speak so I know a lot about fsx but not this problem.

Thanks,
~A~

Your default flight should be the C172 with the engine running. No need to shut it down.

No need to click fly now with it first either. Just select the 407 straight from the menu and start with it. Whats important is that FSX initializes with the 172.

Well, is to me now! In P3D I follow step by step but don't start more...In ACM, cold and dark and save, but in P3D, nothing!! I don't changed anything in P3D or in Bell407 files. Start one day, and another day don't!!

If it worked before... Then it's pretty obvious you did something. What? I have no idea.

Hi to all,

I´m new in this forums and the cause for my beeing here is a problem with the Bell407.

I Installed P3D. Then I installed the Bell407. It worked.
The I thought, it would be great to have some add-ons, so I bought the package. Followed the instruction and... suddenly, everything is gone. The helicopters works, but they don´t have wire cutters, FLIR, nightsun etc. .... Yes, I used the program to select these items and saved it. Nothing changed. The helicopters are clean.

Why ?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Hello was trying to find out about the Bell 407 and MD530. I had a new hard drive put in my computer because it got hit by a surge and had to reinstall FSX and my milviz helicopters. The 407 and 530 have not worked right since then. The MVAMS wont let me choose what I want. It wont let me select cold and dark there are no doors pilot and none of the other, addon stuff. And other issues like switches are backwards. For instance the avionics switches and battery when in the off positions are actually on There is no FADEC system When I push the button. This happens on both aircraft. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling even with firewall and windows defender off. I have no other anti virus. I had bought both of these aircraft from FSpilot shop last year. I don't know what else to do. Is FSX not putting things where they need to be? any help would be much appreciated. I love both aircraft. Especially the 407. Thank You for these aircraft. Ya'll did an excellent job. Thank you in advance for the help.

Respectfully,

Frank

Have you been through the usual run as admin / AV off etc etc outlined here: https://milviz.com/support/index.php?p=7&w=0&s=4
Are you running FSX as admin too?

Hi there,
I've recently installed the 407 and I've some problems with the MVAMS.
I use FSX Steam edition with Windows 10 latest versions.
I've downloaded the installer (vA1.190723) excluding the antivirus and Windows Defender.
I've made the installation as an Administrator and with antivirus excluded.
The problems are:
I never see the pilot even clicking on the seat.
I can choose the various settings but I can obtain just one in the simulator example if I choose both Flir and Night Sun I see just one.
No problems with radios.
Any suggestion?
