thank you I am very grateful for this very useful info.

Additional question: is it normal when I stop a "Fuel Boost Pump" (the 1 or 2) the rotor stops dead (instantly), against the Rotor brake does not work when it is.

I couldn't replicate that but do recall the rotor brake is only supposed to work below 40% or below.

Hi,

I experience the same issue with turning off a fuel boost switch resulting in an immediate full stop of the rotor blades.

Additionally, I have an issue with the cold and dark setup. As soon as I turn on the fuel switch on the front panel, the rotor starts to move and spools up. I have checked, that the starter switch is not yet on. In my case, it does not matter what I do with this switch. The motor always starts when turning the fuel pump on.

Regards,
Uli

What default aircraft are both of you using?

Yes it's the same in my case.
I use the default B407 Yellow, N14HX. But the problems mentioned above are identical to each model of the B407, namely:
- Sudden and instant stop of the ROTOR if one of the 2 Fuel Boost POMP
- The rotor brake does not move (no animation), even at <40%
- Automatic start (even in Cold And Dark) with the Fuel Pump

I use the Carenado A36 with anniversary livery in a cold and dark setup. I have attached my saved flight that gets loaded by default.

Please try using a default aircraft that’s got its engine running.

I just tried with the default F22 with engines running by reverting to the P3D 4.2 default flight. However, the engines still spool up when turning the fuel pump switch on.

Actually the default F-22 should be fine. There is a bug to be fixed it seems.

The original post regarding the fuel boost issue hadn't mentioned the Sim version , testing in FSX ,n o issue , try in v4.2 I see that rotor stop dead without fuel .

Am looking at this to determine if its another foible in V4's fuel management programming or is it a code issue on my side.

Great to have 407 back guys, love it.

The new config menu is nice and install in P3D V4.1 was straight forward.

I get the rotor dead stop when switching off either fuel pump in P3D.

I also get the spool down when I switch off the Master Fuel switch.
The spool down looks and sound great from both inside and outside.
But there does seem to be a sound bug on this spool down - I can still hear a quiet rotor/flap sound when the rotor has fully stopped, that probably shouldn't be there.

Anyone know how to get the trim function to work with FSUIPC.
All my stick, collective, and pedal controls are via FSUIPC direct.
