There is no "uninstall" since none is needed. Simply allow the new version to do its job...

BTW, if you downloaded from the (now invalid) link above, please know that there is an error in the panel.cfg files that has now been corrected.

Use this link to get the corrected panel.cfg files. Unzip both the files into the B55 ..\panel folder:

B55_V5._PanelCfgFiles.zip

Since the original update link in this thread is invalid, I assume you will post a new one as soon as you are able.

Not sure I follow - are you suggesting I BUY the update (at half off)? Is that going to be the only way to get it? I understand there will be a delay because of personal schedules, server crash, etc. and I am willing to wait - as long as the update will be made available eventually.

BTW, I do not have a half-off coupon so if buying a new download is the only way to get the update, I would have to pay full price, and for me, this idea is a non-starter.

It is certain that you are misunderstanding me. We would never charge for a service pack...

1) If you already own the product and bought it from us, then, download the update, (when it's fixed on the 10th of september) and, reinstall it using your original coupon.

2) if you've not bought it, you may wait until the 10th of september and buy it from us or, you may buy it from the other sites where it is presently on sale.

thanks,

Thanks for the clarification, guys. I do already own the B-55/E-55 and am looking only for the service pack as an update. I still have all of my registration codes, etc so as soon as I get the download I should be able to proceed. Sorry for the confusion - I was not clear in my initial posts. I am perfectly content to wait until mid Sept or whenever you re-post the link.

And to KrazyColin - hope you are enjoying my "home state" and that they are being good to you.

Is the "d" supposed to be omitted here from [Vcockpit05] gauge00 (below)?
Yes, for some reason I forgot to edit that version before compiling the installer.

Just saw a MilViz Facebook announcement (Sept 10) advising that the B-55/E-55 is now available on this site. I already own the aircraft - purchased it from MilViz - but need the new version (Service Pack update). However, I have been unable to find a valid link. Please advise!!!!

Any news as to when the new version of the B55 will go live again? I know there is many of us who want to have it and hope that will solve most of the issues accounted for. Is it possible to have someone who was able to download before the server crash to uploaded somewhere so it can be downloaded?
Just curious and eager to see the latest in action.

Thank you guys.
