You said something is apparently blocking the ADV dlls and there would be something to check?

Confirm you have a F4ADV folder with a F4_mod.dll in your panel folder?

If so, do the unblock check on it.

I see the F4_mod.dll in the panel/F4ADV file. I right clicked on it then properties. I looked at all the subsections; General, Security, Details, Previous Versions. There is no “Block” or “Unblock” box.
Thank you,

Did you install a livery package at some point?

I did add some repaints from Sim Outhouse prior to all of this. No repaints since in uninstalling and reinstalling.

Ick. I just realised that I didn't verify regards to the unblock check on those 2 dlls I sent you in that zip file. Confirm you did it after unzipping them?

Yes, I did check the “Unblock” boxes after unzipping the files. That was clear.

Are you able to move the 3 SAS switches aft of the throttle?

They “click” but don’t move. Seems strange I here the click. The sound is not switching on. I did discover Ed if I hold the Q switch down I get audio.
The SAS switches click without holding the Q button but don’t move. Thanks,

Aha. Sorry for being so slow to pick up on this (getting out of touch with the Phantoms).

Please go to your FSX directory\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\Legacy Interfaces\FSX-XPACK and run the SimConnect.msi there.

Following that path to FSX-XPACK I find 5 items:
Microsoft.FightSimulator.SimConnect.dll
Sample.exe.manifest
SimConnect.h
SimConnect.lib
SimConnect....Windows Installer
I don’t see the SimConnect.msi file here. What should I do? I did click on the installer but that didn’t fix anything.
Thanks,

The windows installer was the file.

Ok next step since it seems there is a missing library. Follow the directions below, but on the MV_F-4S_Sys.dll, not the F-100.

For the afterburner and other sound problems, please do the following:

I need you to download this and put it in a temporary folder of your choice. http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x86.zip

Once you start the Dependency Walker process, go to your F-100s's panel folder and drag the MV3DSound.dll into Dependency Walker and drop it. Collapse all the menus as displayed in the outlined area in the below image.

Then post a screenshot so I can check for missing libs. Do this also for each of the other dll files in your F-100 panel folder.

I did the "query" but I can't attach it to this reply screen. I tried a print screen and copying to this reply page, I created a Word doc and tried to attach, I tried attaching as a photo nothing works. Please tell me what to do. The process looked similar to the example you provided when I ran it. It was run on the MV3DSOUND.dll. At the bottom of the tool in RED it had the following entries:

Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

Thanks,
