Introducing our rendition of the renowned 407 helicopter, with support for multiple platforms included.
Detailed, In-Depth Simulation
Our 407 is packed with a ton of detail and closely replicates a real life helicopter in every way we could. We've put the 407 through countless hours and hours of testing, revising, and testing again! With very detailed start-up and shut-down procedures, a healthy amount of systems replication and a 99% operable virtual cockpit, we have strived to bring you the most detailed simulation of the 407 available today.
Perfecting Form and Function
At MilViz, we have a reputation for creating the absolute best, and our 407 is no exception. We've carefully crafted not only a superb external model, but also a perfectly detailed virtual cockpit, complete with crisp, high definition textures. For those who like flying at night, our advanced cockpit lighting provides an absolutely sublime experience. From the smooth 3D gauges to the replication of intricate details, nothing has been overlooked.
Numerous Configuration Options
The MilViz 407 is an extremely versatile and highly capable platform. We've designed the 407 to include several optional equipment configurations with your purchase, allowing you to tailor your 407 to match any number of real world models. Selectable options include:
Not just cosmetic options, the Night Light is completely controllable through key commands, and the emergency floats really do their job, allowing you to land on water without sinking.
- Wire Strike Protection System
- Frahm Damper
- Night Light
- FLIR Camera
- Carry Pod
- Emergency Floats
In addition, all options are able to be set per livery through our Aircraft Configuration Manager, allowing you to outfit your 407 fleet in any way you want.
Stand-alone Configuration Manager
This package includes our Aircraft Configuration Manager, a stand-alone program which allows you to easily set your preferred options per livery. Not only are choices available pertaining to gauge placement and external option visibility, but you are also able to set your preference between having the helicopter load in a 'Cold and Dark' state, or having it load up with the blades spinning, ready to fly.
The ability of setting these options per livery means that you don't have to choose a single static setup for your entire hangar; you can configure any livery with any combination of options in order to always have a 407 ready for whatever you have the time for!
Third Party Avionics Integration
Out of the box, so to speak, our 407 includes our own highly detailed GPS units based on the default simulator data. However, we fully recognize that many of our customers use other popular third party options for replicating the GPS functions. We have included full compatibility for the most popular avionics add-ons, including 3D modeled faceplates. Compatible 3rd party avionics include the following:
Please note that compatibility for the above gauge packages includes support for installation and setup of our product only; use of any of the offered options requires a functional existing installation of the appropriate gauge. In addition, any gauges we list compatibility for are not included with the MilViz 407.
- Reality XP 530 GNS
- Reality XP 430 GNS
- Mindstar 530 GNS
- Mindstar 430 GNS
- Flight1 750 GTN
- Flight1 650 GTN
Use of any 3rd party avionics package in any desired simulator is also of course restricted to the availability of the avionics package for that simulator. Please see the respective manufacturers websites for platform compatibility.
Single Purchase, Multi-Platform Use
The MilViz 407 package supports a wide range of platforms, in a single, downloadable installer:
- FSX: Acceleration
- FSX: Steam Edition
- Prepar3d v2
- Prepar3d v3
- Prepar3d v4
The MilViz 407 package also now includes add-on and avionics options that were, at one time, separate purchases. These have now been included in the multi-installer. In addition, the 407 installer also has a new format that eases installation, letting the user select which platform to install to, as well as what avionics options are to be installed.
Important: Please note that all of the current default analog and digital avionic equipment installed in our general aviation aircraft and helicopters is based on underlying simulator code and as such, is subject to various deficiencies which are not able to be addressed by our team. This includes our GNS 530 / 430 units, audio panel, transponder, ADF unit, and nav/com radios. Due to the inherent limitations present in the simulator, we are therefore unable to provide fixes or support for any issues related to the operation or functionality of these items at this time.
