F-4J/S ACM
I bought the F-4J/S on Oct 01 and so far I have not been able to call up the ACM using Shift + 1 or any of my usual diabolical, blood curdling incantations. All I get is the "Grey Box".
I've read and re-read the manuals and the downloading notes here on the forum and I've read all the posts relating to the "grey Box", I've deleted the F-4 and re-downloaded it and run it as administrator.
I have my FSX Accel on a dedicated hard drive that has no anti virus program. I use it strictly for FSX and downloading FSX related software. So now I'm stumped, what am I missing here?

Oops missed that. Ok please go to start menu->Search->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application immediately after running the F-4S and see if there is an error involving a MV_ dll.

You are able to move the SAS switches aft of the throttle?

Re: F-4J/S ACM
Are you referring to the Stab Aug switches? Then the answer is Negative.
Matter of fact I can't actuate any switches on the left side console aft of the throttles.
Would that be normal except for the SAS switches?

Re: F-4J/S ACM
I see in the panel CFG where it calls for the F4E ACM at gauge 00. Where is this located? I don't see it in the gauges folder, So is it calling for something that doesn't exist in the F-4J/S?

Re: F-4J/S ACM
I did the install for the x64 and that was no help...BUT...then I installed the x86 and at least now I can operate the SAS switches plus others aft of the throttles.
But I still have the grey screen...
The MVAMS works fine or at least it does when I go in to change misc controls

Re: F-4J/S ACM
The gauge entry is correct. The E and S/J share code.
Download this and let it unpack to a temporary folder. Then go to that folder and run the DXSETUP.exe you will find there:
