F4 crashed Prepar3d V4
I have just downloaded the above with anti virus off and all the other recommended procedures. The Flightsim loads ok and when I select to fly the F4 it loads ok but only for a few seconds and then the programme crashes to the desktop.

If you are using 4.1 new patches are being worked on and will be released soon

So I have bought a piece of software that won't work until someobody provides a patch?

It doesn't say 4.1 supported.
We've just put out an update.
FYI, it's suggested that you WAIT before installing the hot fixes (updates) to the sim and let it ... breathe for a bit... so that any bugs can be fixed. As well, it's also to be expected that, like other high end devs, it can take significant time to implement our product range for the newest of the new.
Patience is required.
