F4J Navigation Computer

Post by sngray » Mon Oct 30, 2017 6:48 pm

I'm finding it impossible to set up the navigation computer in the F4J, partly because the present position and target longitude windows in the rear cockpit do not show W/E but have a black window in the place where they should be seen. I have managed to get the target mode functional once but have never been able to select the Base function. I have spent time with both the manual and trial and error but the missing textures concern me that there may be a glitch.

I'm using P3D v4.0

That's fixed in the upcoming build.

Hi
I've just updated to 171116 by means of AMS, but this problem does not seem to have been corrected, i.e. I still have black smudges on the navigation computer panel in the rear cockpit where East or West should be displayed and the Base function also does not seem to be working either.

Ugh...I guess that's what happens when there are so many updates to go into a single project. The wrong texture was updated.

For now, drop this into your F-4J(not S) main texture folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p6kkw9aws81l5 ... C.dds?dl=0

New updates on the way anyway for some other bugs.

Just upload that new texture and everything seems to be working perfectly.

Thank you for the very rapid support and for such a marvellous project. I'm really looking forward to trying out the ADV model and will be intrigued to see how you have improved on what is in my opinion the best flight model that I've experienced in my 20 years simulating.
