yesterday I am ILS approching ENDY
IF i input the ILS frequency in NAV1,Using LOC1 but the left PFD no GP Cursor indication
IF I input the ILS frequency both in NAV1 and NAV2 , using LOC1 , the PFD display the GP Cursor indication.
Is this the necessary function and flight procedure for Proline21 equipment?

and there is no dme display when using VOR and ILS.

Hi,

All of your pictures are correct.

1) It seems 111.10 LOC freq does not contain DME data. Many ILS/LOC do not provide DME info, in those cases it is usual to DME HOLD from a close VOR frequency.

2) In ILS/LOC direct approaches (not those that are FMS NAV-to-NAV), the OBS cursor must be positioned to match the LOC bearing, as the FGS uses this info to auto detect if the LOC signal should be recognized as direc LOC or B/C (backcourse). Besides, that info is used to enable/disable GLidesLope signal capture. In the last image the bearing intercept angle won't prevent GS signal to display, though the presence of Vertical Scale gives a clue that there is a GS available on that frequency.

If you tell me that this is the normal function of Proline21, not a product bug, not an unresolved fault, I will gladly accept the current situation and follow the method you said. I will try some other situations again, thank you for your reply.

both Navigation data source need to set LOC1 , the left PFD G/P display
if right source is not LOC , it will no GP display in left PFD ...
It is a Obvious bugs,When the second NAV fails, or right PFD fails, there is no way to perform a normal ILS approach.
