500 KB/s should download 650MB in 22 minutes or so. I'm not sure why it's taking you over an hour.
Yes, and you are right. 500 KB/s is what I have gotten on a good day, but even so, 22 minutes for 650MB is still *way* too slow, in my opinion. But let's not clutter the post further, I've said what I feel is warranted - unless we get incremental updates we should have a proper CDN.

Re: 1128. Not sure if it's the aircraft, navdata or just my system but twice in a row I'm away to the right side of the airfield on short finals. The attachment shows me on the RNAV-17 into YBTH (Bathhurst, Australia). Any solutions come to mind?

Today I completed my first complete flight with the new version.
I dont know if its a bug or not but the knobs on the autopilot, like Heading, Speed and Alt dont work the "PUSH", I try to sync the HDG using the PUSH and nothing happen, just change the heading one degree, on the Speed I push to change to MACH and also nothing.

Im doing something wrong, or its a bug or not simulated?

Keep the condition levers in low idle.

And move the power lever to beta range if you want to lower the taxi speed.

You have to use the middle mouse button / press down the mouse wheel to access the PUSH function of rotary encoders.
The same applies e.g. for the BARO knob or the one on the ESIS standby instrument.

Also, the mouse wheel up/down could be used to rotate the knobs, it's easier than clicking.

Cheers,
Chris

Thank you Chris, its seems that was a miss-configuration with the EZCA. Its works fine now.

Hi all,

With the latest build, I've noticed that my ITT goes into the red on both engines, when I'm starting up. I follow the procedure, throttles idle, props full, condition from cutoff to low idle at 12% N1. This leads my engines into a poor condition and I've had two airborne engine failures where previously I'd had none, that's 2/3 of the flights with this update.

I also had a cabin diff pressure master caution passing 14,000ft in the climb, despite having it set at 1000ft above planned cruise (30,000ft). This is also new to me with this update.

Finally, I notice double writing on below the cabin pressure controls.

As always, many of these things could be user error or sim being a bit picky but best to point them out just in case. Thanks.

All,
Uninstalling the aircraft every week and then having to reinstall plus update liveries every week or so is becoming....tedious. I'm looking for input on quickest way to manage this. Could some of you describe the process your using?

I used to have the high ITT issue until I made sure my N1 was stable at 20% before introducing fuel. Make sure you do NOT move the condition levers out of FUEL CUTOFF at any point before starting the engine (even if the battery is off) or it will flood the engine with fuel.

If you struggle with lots of engine outs and failures that seemingly happen without any reason (or RNG just hates you), go to C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\MVAMS\Configurations\KingAir350i, edit Simulator.ini to this:

Code: Select all

[CONFIGURATION]
left_eng_fail=0
right_eng_fail=0
Then set the file read only. No, this isn't the way it's suppsoed to be, but until Milviz gives us a way to disable engine failure conditions, it's the only way.

Since I did this, I've had no engine failures (apart from an engine explosion due to ice, but that's my fault).

It is unfortunately what I have been doing. I only have one livery I maintain on the aircraft though, but yeah... Incremental patches would be great :)

Do not get tired) We used to wait for an update of two months. Now we can test each version and it’s great. The developer has more information and the process of improving the aircraft is much faster. :)
