I'd like to add my thanks to the team, what a fantastic job you have done. By far the best aircraft I have tried in flight sim. I am currently on a mission to fly around the world and was looking for something versatile to take on my challenge. There's been a few issues but the inclusive way we have been involved has been great.

Currently in Peru and plan to follow the Amazon river back across to the Atlantic before heading South, never flown in South America before so looking forward to new sights and so far the weather has been the biggest challenge. Ice loading is something I have not seen before and it keeps you on your toes.

Thanks again.

Hello,

First of all, a big thank you to all the team for the beautifull and hard work involved to achieve this SP !

I notice a small issue in the SP1 1.1.29_High res installer : the $KA350i_NL_1.dds file is missing in the realight\Textures\Instindirect folder.
The result is a lack of bluish flood light on the main panel.

Tried with the low_res installer and all is fine.

The work around for people having the issue is to install the low res first then to backup the $KA350i_NL_1.dds file somewhere. Then uninstall the Ka350i
and install the high_res one. Copy and paste the $KA350i_NL_1.dds into "realight\Textures\Instindirect" folder.
You can also find this file there :

Happy flying !

Best regards

Georges

I was just about to open up a topic about this. Thank you!

With the Blackhawk -67 engine upgrade and MT 5-bladed propeller these old gals have been hitting 345 KTAS!
I saw one of those at work the other day.... 345 is huge! It's pretty dang fast for that kinda plane.

Build 1.1.29
Cabin pressurization
Flight: CNK4 - KORD @ FL260
Note: Cabin controller set correctly

After take off pressure remained at departure field elevation. Cabin pressure diff increased the the red warning light and a hi press diff warning came on.
Adjusted controller - no change
Tried dumping the cabin - cabin dump switch not functional.

Interesting have not seen....I just took her up to FL310 yesterday,

I'm trying to think of what would cause this. Use any weather programs? I doubt that would affect it just curious.

Hi,

Reproduced same flight, ISA conditions, pressurization worked as expected.
Cabin dump also worked fine.

Did you check that Cabin Rate controller was not in 0 Vs/Min? Just in case.

Yes. I have the better part of ten years fling king airs in the real world. Settings were correct. I was surprised when the warning lights came on as other than right after takeoff. I hadn’t been monitoring it. Initially I’m looking for the big dog chasing the little dog referring to needles. In the rw I’d be monitoring it all the way up.....I was sitting in front of the computer, cat on my lap, enjoying a coffee and the scenery. I tried changing pressure rate change and selecting a different final altitude on the controller. Whatever it was was stuck. Tried then to dump the cabin pressure and the switch was inop. I’ll try another flight.

Weird...

In fact, pressurization system should perform very similar to real.
Cabin leak is also simulated, performance differences with enviro bleed norm/auto/low, one/two bleed valve(s) operative(s), etc.
Even you can check sinlge left/right bleed valve effects on transient pressure values.

If that happens again please try to record as much you could remember.

Are you using ActiveSky or other wx addon?
Did you select a saved flight and then changed the departure airport? In that case, was the original airport altitude higher than CNK4?

Just an off the wall decision to do this flight. It's the 2nd or 3rd flight I've done with this new build and this is the first one to do this. I'll do another flight. I'm using the new beta active sky weather for both P3dV4 & V5 - you select which sim during startup. Interesting that you'd model cabin leakage. Cool. I once had an old 200 with the -41 engines that would reach a cabin altitude of 10,000' at about FL300.

KCGX - KMSP @ FL240

Pressurization functioned normally. No issues.
Total flight very good.
This current build was excellent on this flight.

I too would like to thank the developers of this product. While I am unhappy with the levels of real documentation on how to fly the aircraft properly, systems information and performance data - the product itself is excellent.
It would also be great to see some more repaints with perhaps some liveries from Australia and New Zealand - particularly an RFDS livery!!!

Have you checked avsim? I see a few repaints of the world there

Especially for KA350 returning to P3D4. One word - AMAZING. Second - THX. Third - waiting for P3D5...
