I have this amber/yellow text on my PFD. Currently sat on the ground.
What does it mean?

Hi,
Check CDU message line. It might be because invalid Cruize alt, or invalid VNAV alt

So the only CDU message I had was "NO VPATH - PILOT CMD"
Having finally found an FMS 3000 manual I believe it might mean:
Shows when the rate of climb or descent is less than what is required to make the next altitude constraint specified in the flight plan.
I had just landed, going from an RNAV descent onto 27, to a circle approach onto 9. Perhaps a holdover message from that? Even with a new flight plan executed?

No, that message will display MSG in white on the PFD. And it means VPATH is not momentary available. Not related to altitude issues like those I mentioned.

Could it be something to do with the fact that the yaw damper is still engaged and the flight director modes FLC and FMS are active. You also have min 10 BARO active...
I think I need to read the FMS-3000 manual I found

Only FMS-3000 manual I have found is for the Citation Encore+, but I suspect it isn't that much different?

There is also one for the Avanti, which I found on smartcockpit in addition to the Citation one available, but as far as I can tell, the core elements are the same...

The YD and BARO was me playing around with all the knobs trying to find something that would turn the message off haha.
Same citation FMS manual and I'm 99% sure it's for the rate of climb/descent thing. I'm pretty sure I still had waypoints left in my FMS because of my circling approach. I'll have to try it out next time I'm at that airport.
