ITT control

It seems I am not able to have ITT numbers on te correct values...they are always too high!

I am now flying at FL200, 150 kts, 1700 prop rpm and with a torque of 38% I get an ITT of 812ÂșC....Which is the proper flying technique to have the ITT numbers well within their limits?

Also and another point: is it possible to import wind data to the FMS from ActiveSky?

Thanks!
Ega

Hi,
Are you flying the latest version? (.22 and up)

Ok.

First, you are flying with take off RPMs. In cruise you should use 1500 RPM to obtain more torque with same fuel consumption and also a less noise on cabin/cockpit.
Second, check your sea level temperature in MFD (botton) as it is the main factor on ITT performance.
