Is FSUIPC requirred for this model?
I am running P3D v4 with my new MD530F. It's fantastic! I'm running it with just the settings in P3D v4. It seems to work fine except for a few glitches.
1. The GNS 430/530 doesn't see my flight plans that I have created in the P3D flight Planner.
2. ONLY occasionally the large right hand knob becomes non functional. The small knob is okay the mouse hand is visible and performs correctly. However the mouse hand doesn't appear over the large knob. Usually reloading the sim corrects this problem.
3. I've assigned my X-52 slider to the throttle axis. It works but it doesn't seem to have as much travel as you would expect.
If FSUIPC is not required, what button or axis maps the starter button? I'd like to map it to one of the joystick buttons (04).

I don't have FSUIPC and the 530 works great so I guess it's not necessary to have it installed.

Not sure how this post got missed as it is quite old....
The MD-530 doesn't have our newer custom hardware mapping system so those who want to map VC controls to hardware must use FSUIPC.
