Spooky throttle lever?

Post by francesco.doenz » Sat Apr 27, 2019 7:17 pm

While following the take off checklist ( I always start with a cold and dark cockpit) it happens that when advancing the throttle, after a seemingly normal engine start, I kill the engine for no obvious reason? This happens once in a while rndomly!? Any suggestions as to what I am forgetting?

Compressor stall induced by abrupt throttle inputs. Move throttles smoothly specially when going into afterburner region.

Noisy throttle hardware increases the compressor stall susceptibility.
